Defend European Nations, Stand With Israel

Christian Coalition Norway (KKN) is committed to Israel’s strength, security and sovereignty. To this end, we stand with the decisions of the democratically elected government of Israel and work to support the Europe-Israel relationship and safeguard the Jewish state’s right to defend itself. Presently, we are focused on addressing the following policy items:

Support for a strong Europe-Israel relationship

Founded upon our nations’ shared Judeo-Christian values, the alliance between European nations and Israel is in the vital security interests of us all. Israel is the West’s sole outpost of freedom and democracy in the Middle East; therefore KKN supports European aid to Israel and the maintenance of the Jewish state’s qualitative military edge in the region.

Opposition to international pressure on Israel

Like any other sovereign democratic nation, Israel has the right to defend itself from terrorism and other violent threats. In addition, the Israeli military has time and again shown itself to take great risks to minimize civilian casualties, whereas Israel’s enemies use civilians as human shields. KKN opposes international condemnation of Israel’s legitimate acts of self-defense and international pressure on Israel to make concessions to its adversaries that the Jewish state does not wish to make.

Countering Iran’s malevolence

Iran is the world’s leading state sponsor of terror and the preeminent force for evil in the Middle East and has attacked Israel directly. Tehran remains committed to developing a nuclear weapons capability and supporting terrorists around the globe. KKN is committed to countering Iran’s malevolence through sanctions on the Islamic Republic and efforts to disrupt military and financial support of Hezbollah.

Opposition to antisemitism

In recent years, and especially since the barbaric October 7th, 2023 Hamas Massacre, there has been a dramatic increase in antisemitism in European nations, especially through the Muslim immigrants, along with the far-right and far-left. Often, antisemites hide behind various fig leaves. They will claim they are simply expressing their hatred for Israel, not all Jews. One cannot defeat that which they are unwilling to define.

To achieve this goal, KKN supports adoption of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) definition of antisemitism, including its associated examples, when leaders seek guidance on understanding the world’s oldest hatred.

47 countries worldwide have adopted the IHRA working definition, including its examples — and in Europe that’s virtually every nation except Norway. That covers all EU countries now, including Ireland which came on board in 2025.The consensus is that the IHRA definition is an appropriate way to define antisemitism. KKN  is presently seeking to see the definition acknowledged in Norway as well.

On the institutions side, the European Commission actively recommends it as a key tool for education, training, and policy. The European Parliament has called for its adoption across the EU, and the Council of Europe has also endorsed it. So when European leaders look for guidance on antisemitism, this is the standard they’re pointed to.

It’s become the go-to framework across the continent.

Countering Palestinian terrorism and intransigence

Despite repeated Israeli efforts to make peace with the Palestinians, their leaders have remained committed to Israel’s destruction. As we saw on October 7th, 2023 Gaza-based terrorists led by Hamas, raped, brutalized and murdered their way through sourthern Israel. We support efforts to end Hamas’s existence.

Likewise, Palestinian Authority remains unwilling to abandon its incitement of violence against the Jewish state and its “pay-to-slay” program for terrorists. KKN does not believe the Palestinian Authority is a true partner for peace and opposes European taxpayer aid to the PA.

Opposition to the BDS movement

According to their own leaders, the BDS movement’s goal is to destroy Israel through economic warfare. The BDS movement is inherently antisemitic as it targets the world’s only Jewish state with lies and demonization and aims to deny the Jewish people their God-given right to self-determination. KKN supports legislation aimed at ensuring European  taxpayer moneydoes not end up in the hands of antisemites who support this movement.

Judea & Samaria: Biblical Heartland

KKN supports the overwhelming decisions of the Knesset, establishing that Judea & Samaria belong to Israel, and the proper Biblical names must be used. The term «West Bank» is merely language that intends to rob Israel of its historical land. Israelis should be encouraged to settle in all areas of Judea & Samaria.

Jerusalem is Israel´s Capital City

The eternal capital of the Jewish people and the land of Israel is Jerusalem.

KKN suppports that every Europen nation should have its embassy in the rightful capital of Isael.

Our positions are largely compatible with the positions of Christians United for Israel of USA.
